Soldiers Sortie: Can Even a Nobody Transmigrate?

The synopsis is a bit beyond me.

Xu Ling's life was so uneventful it never rippled. She was an ordinary office worker in City A, working nine to five every day, then buying groceries and making dinner after work. She was the quintessential background character in a romance novel, with no connection whatsoever to the love and hatred between the hero and heroine.

One evening, she was waiting at an intersection for the light to change, hoping only to get home early, when she saw a car speeding out of control. Inside were the novel's hero and heroine, locked in a furious argument. The heroine was determined to escape the possessive hero, and in the struggle, he lost control of the steering wheel and drove straight into Xu Ling, who was waiting at the roadside.

The powerful protagonist halo protected the two people in the car. They were badly injured in the crash, but their lives were never in danger. Xu Ling, an innocent passerby, had not an ounce of plot armor and died on the spot.

The force of the collision tore through the barrier around the pocket dimension the heroine carried with her. The spiritual spring at its core, whose source nourished body and soul, spilled out and happened to flow into Xu Ling's spirit as she died. It left the romance world along with her shattered consciousness.
