I Passed the Underworld Civil Service Exam, Now I Rule the Living World

[Underworld Human Resources: You passed the written exam for the position of Ghost Constable. Please attend an interview tonight at midnight.]

After failing the civil service exam for three years, getting dumped by his girlfriend, and falling behind on rent, Lin Chuan turns around and becomes a ghost constable in the underworld:

Vengeful ghosts kneel when they see him, evil cultivators run for their lives, his boss is afraid to bully him, and local tough guys offer him cigarettes.

He catches ghosts at work during the day, grabs skewers after work at night, and finds time to solve cold cases and build up his good karma.

Haunted houses, vicious ghosts, evil cultivators, villains: before an official government position, they’re all paper tigers!

The story of a civil service exam reject who becomes an underworld bureaucrat and rules the living world.
