Li Yan loves helping people. She helps old ladies cross the street, takes elementary school students to find their parents, coaxes cats down from trees, and gives ants water. But because she can't read the room at work, she has embarrassed her boss in front of everyone several times. So her boss claims that the Special Crime Investigation Group investigates unusual cases and needs a handpicked team of elite investigators. Since she perfectly meets this strict standard, he transfers her to D.I.E.
Li Yan is certain that at D.I.E. she will shine in her role and bring honor to the police force.
