The apocalypse arrives without warning, and monsters from multiple seasons invade one after another. Humanity is forced to awaken extraordinary classes: warriors, assassins, blacksmiths, farmers, and more. Killing seasonal monsters guarantees a drop of the universal currency, Apocalypse Coins, and may also yield random loot such as cores, equipment, spirit materials, and cultivation techniques. Apocalypse Coins are accepted everywhere. They can be spent in safe-zone shops on cultivation supplies and survival essentials, or freely traded among survivors.
In Season 1, a horde of bloodthirsty zombie kings sweeps across the city. In Season 2, sinister ghosts emerge one after another, and the danger keeps escalating.
The protagonist, Jiang Hao, awakens as a Summoner. The antique jade pendant he has worn close to his body since childhood suddenly heats up and activates. It can absorb cores, pills, and all kinds of spirit materials, converting them into energy points that purify the bloodlines of his contracted battle pets and rapidly boost their combat power.
Thunder, the lightning-marked war tiger, sweeps through vast zombie hordes, slaughtering them by the thousands. Blazing Flame, the fire hound, burns away evil and is tailor-made to counter intangible spirits and ghosts. The Black Tortoise, clad in a mysterious shell, boasts unrivaled defense and can withstand a leader-class monster's full-force assault. Each of the three battle pets has a role to play, and with their bloodlines evolving, their combat power grows more terrifying by the day.
While others struggle to farm monsters in teams just to scrape together enough coins to get by, and even fight over the rare materials monsters drop, Jiang Hao relies on his three ever-evolving battle pets to solo elite monsters, surround and eliminate leaders, and hunt high-priced mutated beasts. While countless survivors still compete for basic cultivation resources, he wields a vast fortune in Apocalypse Coins and leads his three pets to sweep through every season of chaos.
