(Ongoing) A 32-year-old, restrained and aloof platform business director × a 23-year-old content studio owner who is sharp-tongued but has her principles. Nine-year age gap, mutual attraction, light comedy mixed with heartache.
He Yuchen is calm and restrained, accustomed to using contracts and resources to arrange outcomes for everyone.
Jiang Zhaowan is so broke she can barely pay the rent, yet she refuses to let a platform decide how ordinary people should live.
An old watermark brings him to her door in person.
She turns down a 50,000-yuan offer to buy her account, and refuses to become a “rising director” packaged by the platform.
Later, He Yuchen can no longer pick her out of a crowd, yet he can find her just by the sound of her voice.
He thinks he only wants to control the risks.
It isn’t until Jiang Zhaowan leaves that he realizes
What he wants to hold on to was never just the video she filmed.
