The day superpowers awakened, everyone else got abilities like flames, lightning, and an iron body.
I awakened wind. I can barely even blow a leaf.
Teammate: "What can you do besides blow-dry hair?"
Enemy: "Is that all you've got?"
I thought I was useless, too.
That is, until I was pulled into that infinite world.
That's when I realized: wind can carry seeds, and seeds can kill; wind can pierce throats, and vines can pierce armor; wind can turn dandelions into missiles.
They think I'm just making a breeze. In reality, I've been calculating all along.
The wind direction, trajectories, air resistance, plant growth rates, the enemy's breathing rate, and the moment they'll die.
But later, I realized I'd miscalculated one thing.
The company treating my illness had been lying to me from the very beginning.
The company that was "clearing my head" was actually eating me.
Both sides were raising me at the same time: one treated me as fuel, the other as food.
And I was just an unlucky guy who clicked the wrong link in a pop-up.
They all say there's no saving me.
I just laughed and scratched my head.
"Wait until I finish calculating this round. Then you'll know who's really the prey."
