Unexpectedly, his opening performance at the Grammy Awards, singing “Radioactive” while drumming high above the stage, made him an instant legend. “Radioactive,” “Natural,” and “Believer” were released simultaneously on the four major music platforms. Within three days, all three songs simultaneously landed in the Billboard Top 50. “Believer” was even chosen as the theme song for the NCAA bowl series. “Natural” was likewise chosen as the theme song for ESPN’s college football league. “We Will Rock You” was selected as the World Cup theme song. Tens of thousands of people pounded on tables together, their synchronized applause and chant-like singing sending the song straight to number one on the Billboard chart. He moved on to Hollywood, where he filmed the Fast & Furious series, the James Bond series, the Marvel series, and the Transformers series, taking the global box office by storm. His TV series included Prison Break, Game of Thrones, 2 Broke Girls, and Breaking Bad. From Grammy winner to Hollywood leading man, from entertainer to business mogul.
