Journey to the West: Reborn in Ao Cunxin's Body, I Rule the Three Realms

[Historical fantasy + creative spin + Lotus Lantern/Journey to the West fan fiction + overwhelmingly powerful protagonist + doted-on heroine + no holier-than-thou attitude + no lovestruck heroine]

After waking up in a new body, Bu Weiyue finds herself as Ao Cunxin, the Third Princess of the West Sea from Lotus Lantern, who turned against everyone for love and was eventually imprisoned in the Forbidden Sea.

Faced with the clichéd plot where she is supposed to repay a life-saving favor by giving herself to her rescuer, Bu Weiyue lets out a cold laugh. “Being lovesick is a death sentence. Whoever wants to be Yang Jian’s wife can have the job. I’m going to be his daughter!”

With a series of bold moves from the start, she successfully gets the aloof and proud Erlang Shen to reluctantly accept her as his goddaughter.

But that’s not enough! To survive the coming calamity of Journey to the West and protect herself and the Dragon Clan, she sets her sights on the other two top fighters in the Three Realms:

At Water Curtain Cave on Flower-Fruit Mountain, she brings specialties from the East Sea and shamelessly begs Great Sage Equal to Heaven Sun Wukong to become her second dad.

At the Heavenly Court’s Yunlou Palace, she wins over Nezha with lotus-root and pork rib soup and a rebellious spirit born of their shared grievances, making him her third dad.

The gods of the Heavenly Court are stunned. “Has this little dragon princess from the West Sea gone crazy? The three biggest rebels in the Three Realms all became her dads?!”

The Jade Emperor frets, “Ao Cunxin is far too brazen. Someone go rein her in!”

The assembled immortals tremble. “Your Majesty, if we provoke her, Yang Jian will split open a mountain, the Monkey King will smash Lingxiao Palace, and Nezha will burn down the South Heaven Gate. Who would dare touch her?!”

From then on, the Three Realms lose a bitter, scorned Ao Cunxin and gain a domineering troublemaker who picks fights with everyone: the Three Realms’ most well-connected person!
