As the apocalypse approaches, Chu Ge accidentally becomes a special infected person who retains consciousness, and is protected by his ex-boyfriend Ye Nanyu. The two traveled together to help a mysterious mummy find his family, and eventually found his wife and children, only to find that the mummy was missing again. They brought new partners into the survivor base and dealt with people with different abilities. Along the way, the past gradually emerged, and the misunderstanding that led to their breakup many years ago was gradually solved. The powerful forces that rule the party try to control Chu Ge.
