Reborn in 1995: Saving 100,000 Laid-Off Workers

The bitter winter of 1995 brings an unprecedented wave of layoffs to Northeast China's heavy industry. Su Dongliang wakes up to find himself the new director of the Hongxing Heavy Machinery Plant. As foreign investors short the company at rock-bottom prices and competitors kick it while it's down, thousands of workers who have labored and sweated for the plant are about to be left out on the street. Then Su Dongliang awakens the Spark of Industry System! Simply give employees benefits, and he gets ten times the money back in a cash rebate? Meet the employee headcount target, and he can unlock the core blueprints for a five-axis CNC machine tool, a heavy-duty tunnel-boring machine, and even a lithography machine? So while the entire industry is fighting to survive by cutting off its own limbs, Su Dongliang's unconventional moves shock the world. "Is he crazy? It's one thing not to lay anyone off, but why is he doubling salaries and hiring a hundred thousand more people?" "He doesn't just provide meals and housing, he's even assigning apartments to their families?!" Years later, when overseas giants prepare to completely take over the domestic market, they discover in despair that a colossal power in the East has already risen. With three million top-tier national master craftsmen at his side, Su Dongliang has built a heavy-industry empire worth trillions, completely smashing the global technological blockade! Reporter: "Chairman Su, how did you create this miracle?" Su Dongliang: "It's simple. Treat workers like brothers, and they'll build you an entire world!"
