Becoming a Girl: How Do I Find Happiness?

[Gender-swap + daily life + campus + healing]

A boy falls into a coma after an accident.

When he wakes up, everything has changed.

“From now on, you’re a girl.”

Though he’s a boy, he must now face life as a young woman.

Dazed and confused, he doesn’t understand a thing. It all feels like a dream.

He tries to pursue the happiness other people tell him about, but his male perspective leaves him filled with doubt and confusion.

“I told you! I used to be a man! Doesn’t that disgust you, even if it was all just a dream?” The girl is nearly in tears.

“That’s all in the past. I’ve always loved you for who you are, no matter what happened before.”

The boy embraces the girl.

“Promise me you’ll love yourself a little more, okay?”

Tears shimmer with iridescent light as they slide gently down the girl’s pale cheeks.

She smiles happily.
