A former underworld boss in his previous life, he died and was reborn as a guard at the Mu family estate. After two years as a menial laborer, he earned five hundred copper coins a month.
The day he finally saved up ten taels, he activated the Life Simulator. First life: a drunk mistook him for a sissy, a gay man drugged him and locked him up for seven days, and at forty-five he died in a ditch. When it came time to claim his reward, he chose cultivation and got ninth-rank strength for free.
Second life: he reached the middle stage of seventh rank and lived to fifty-five. Just before he died, he caught a distant glimpse of the Mu family estate, but never went inside.
After simulating two lives, he chose only cultivation.
