Honghuang: From the Start, I Outmaneuvered Zhunti and Siphoned the Sages' Fortune

I’ve just transmigrated into the Primordial World as Hongyun, its unluckiest soul, and now I’m facing certain death at Zixiao Palace over whether to give up my seat! Give it up? I die! Refuse? I offend two future Saints and still die! In my darkest hour, I awaken the heaven-defying treasure, the Hongmeng Book of Karma. The causes and effects of all things can be quantified, and paying back your debts is only right and proper! So, as Jieyin and Zhunti weep and plead, I nobly give up my seat among the future Saints. From that moment on, the entire Primordial World goes completely off the rails!

Jieyin: “Fellow Daoist Hongyun, please, could you give us a couple more days? You’ve drained the Western Teachings dry!”

Zhunti: “I even pawned the Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree to you to pay off my debt. What more do you want from me?”

Kunpeng: “Y-You stay back! I never did anything to you, so why are you plucking my feathers again?”

I open my little notebook and smile. “You gave me a murderous look. How about paying me compensation for the emotional distress?”

A nice guy? That was just a disguise! I, Hongyun, am the biggest creditor in the Primordial World. I control karma, and even Saints have to work for me!
