Great Tang: I'm Cheng Sanlang, and I Specialize in Tricking My Brothers

Cheng Chubi has just gotten his eldest brother, second brother, and fourth younger brother completely drunk. He claps his hands triumphantly, when Li Xian strolls out from behind the screen.

Li Xian glances at everyone sprawled on the floor and calmly says, “Brother Bi, I just had a taste of the ‘medicinal wine’ you brewed for Uncle Cheng.”

Cheng Chubi’s pupils contract. “You… you drank it?!”

Li Xian smiles. “It tastes pretty good. But I suggest you move these gentlemen into a room and cover them with quilts before Uncle Cheng gets back. It’s getting chilly in autumn, and they might catch cold.”

Cheng Chubi: When did she get here?! How come she didn’t pass out after drinking it?!

Before leaving, Li Xian looks back and says, “By the way, next time you make this kind of wine, add two slices of licorice. It’ll taste smoother. My father likes it too.”

From that day on, Cheng Chubi knows that this girl will be his one and only “nemesis” in the Tang Dynasty.
