Expeditionary Force: 1942, The Hard Road Home

[Passionate War of Resistance] + [Building a Squad] + [Veteran’s Memoir] + [Tragic Ensemble Cast] Shen Li transmigrates to the Burmese battlefield in 1942 after a flash flood. When he wakes, he has lost contact with his unit and Japanese soldiers are searching the area. To survive and make it home alive, he rescues the timid He Shanwa, ambushes the enemy, searches for water, and struggles through the rainforest with a band of routed soldiers who have no unit designation. But when they finally stop running and begin fighting side by side, Shen Li discovers that the road home they have fought so hard to travel ends at a list of missing men that no one has claimed.
