In the fall of 1997, two criminals robbed and murdered in Northeast China, then fled in panic under intense pressure from our public security forces. They roamed across more than a dozen provinces and cities, committing crimes wherever they went. Their crimes shocked the nation and sent ripples through the Ministry of Public Security. Their methods were exceptionally brutal and cunning, but in the end, they were captured by our Shaanxi police, unable to escape their ultimate downfall. This series begins in Baoji, the first city they fled to.
