[Detective System + Genius Senior + Case-by-Case Mysteries + Showdowns with a Phantom Thief + Slightly Yandere + Everyday Bickering]
After transmigrating eighteen years ago, Lu Guan finally activated the Legendary Detective Training System.
The System can measure data, compare traces, and issue missions, but it never tells him who the culprit is. To claim his rewards, he must turn every clue into evidence the police can independently verify.
To earn money for living expenses, Lu Guan joins a small detective agency. Its owner, Lin Xue, is nineteen and a year ahead of him in school. Most days, she lounges on the sofa watching cat videos. But when she gets serious about a case, she becomes a renowned detective whose records have been sealed.
One searches for anomalies; the other exposes lies. Starting with a search for a missing cat, the two solve murder cases, livestream scams, and phantom-thief warnings. In the midst of all their mutual exasperation, they become partners no one can replace. Lu Guan, too, rises step by step from errand boy to legendary detective.
But the more cases they solve, the more Lu Guan feels that something is off about his genius boss. She prepares for dangers before they happen, seems oddly familiar with invitations from the Spade, and, when he considers accepting a job offer from another agency, follows him for eighteen kilometers in three different disguises.
“Director Lin, didn’t you say we were just work partners?”
“We are work partners.”
“Then why did you follow me for eighteen kilometers?”
Lin Xue put away her binoculars without changing expression.
“Employee attrition risk assessment.”
Lu Guan thought it was just possessiveness she refused to admit.
Until he discovered that Lin Xue wasn’t predicting the future. She simply remembered how she had died the last time around.
It's really powerfully written. Because I had never read anything similar in genre and direction on Tomato, I read it with the mentality of reading "Sherlock Holmes" from the beginning. The author wrote it very well, but my own reading experience was not very good. In some early cases, such as the first murder case after finding the cat queen, I could feel that the author had been accumulating strength, but finally fell into the void. The author's narration of the case is particularly detailed and rational, but it always feels lacking in explosiveness. As a reader, I always feel that I can't get into the state. I know clearly what the author wants to express, but I always can't get into it. It wasn't until the gem case after chapters 15 and 16 that I felt there was a very wonderful conflict, and the reading experience improved a lot. And in terms of character creation, I actually agree more with the arrangement of the male protagonist in the novel. It does not overly praise the male protagonist and describe the routine shock and slap in the face, but it really shows that the male protagonist is a rookie, he is growing step by step, and he always responds to the difficulties in the copy. I often have unique opinions, and I personally agree with this kind of treatment. However, after reading the novel, the male protagonist is really aggrieved. From the perspective of a commercial novel, it is not very comfortable. The female protagonist and some supporting characters are completely left to play the role, which makes the protagonist have no sense of existence (personal opinion). Moreover, the portrayal of the heroine is also very vague. Without reading the introduction and comment section, I would not know that the heroine is a reborn person. I personally think that the portrayal of the male and female protagonists is also relatively vague. But it is undeniable that I really like the author's writing style. It is a novel that is rational and calm, and the characters throughout the text are like normal people. I personally have very strong expectations for the possible growth of the protagonist and the handling of emotional lines in the subsequent chapters. At this point, I am eagerly anticipating and looking forward to the author's updates. Haji, you will become the next great writer.
I'm the author, so four stars is not too much for me 😳
Yes, I want to see the Chai Husband Crematorium. After several cases in which the male and female protagonists are in conflict, it would be great if there was a fight. Fight to death, mouth and teeth! ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ♡ ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨
The dialogue between the characters is very interesting, but the name of the protagonist is always easy to make fun of. Hahaha, Huang Tian is above, gambling and drug addiction are inseparable. I couldn't stand the damn literary youthful flavor of a certain character's dialogue before, but this one is just right, and the daily interactions are also very warm. And the most important thing is that at first I thought the heroine, Comrade Kobayashi, was almost a kid sister to the Sherlock Holmes next door, but from the author's illustrations, she is a big sister type, and big sisters are the best. As for the plot, because I read books relatively quickly, I may not have read the plot in detail, so I won't comment too much, but the plot is generally very good and I have tasted it. Anyway, give me a good review. Please keep it up, the author. I will always come to support you when you are trying to fish. (Damn, why do you feel that this book review is so human-like). [Notice]
500,000 Words, no rating, still updating, ruthless, given 🤦 🤦
It's my first time coming into contact with this kind of subject, and I think it's okay
As far as Tomato Mysteries are concerned, it's very good, and there's honestly a lot to write about in detective stories. I look forward to the author's follow-up.
There are too few people. I wonder if there will be a chance for more people.
There is a smell of AI 🤦. It can be seen that the author wanted to write something big, but he was not sure. During the investigation process, he could write more psychological activities and less useless rhetoric 🍉
Awesome, here you go, who posted this on my daily basis?
