Criminals: Oh No, We've Been Wiped Out by Traditional Chinese Medicine!

[Urban Setting + Out-of-the-Box Urban Fantasy + Traditional Chinese Medicine + Suspenseful Case-Solving + Lucky Charm + Face-Slapping]

A traditional Chinese medicine practitioner has such absurdly good luck that when his hand slips and he needles the wrong acupuncture point, a human trafficker is instantly paralyzed. The police ask him to serve as a consultant. He treats patients with acupuncture while solving cases, and even when he gives the bad guys their comeuppance, they can’t find any evidence against him. As he investigates, he discovers that his father’s death is connected to a pharmaceutical company publicly run by his own uncle.
