“Who did you say you were going to win over? Hisoka Morow?”
The dangerous, unhinged magician from Hunter x Hunter is reborn as a nine-year-old, retaining all his adult memories. His one obsession in this life is Yin Hongduo. He returns to Meteor City to make up for the regrets of his youth and saves a girl from a circus. His unintentional kindness wins her admiration; when Yin Hongduo gets jealous, he reveals his darkest side to scare everyone else away. After the adult Hisoka appears, the two unlock a bond that lets them share their minds and bodies, and they can freely merge and split apart. Their merged form doubles their fighting power. When split, they may bicker and scheme against each other, but their devotion to protecting Yin Hongduo is always in perfect accord.
In her previous life, Yin Hongduo was born with blood that could cure poison and a body capable of regenerating endlessly, yet her own parents treated her like a monster. After witnessing them die at the hands of their enemies, she saw through humanity’s filth and willingly became a villain who did whatever she pleased. She carries the dormant bloodline of a divine race and is the chosen one selected by the world’s consciousness. Four divine-race protectors follow her, and a long-running mystery points toward the Dark Continent. The System she is bound to has an energy-sleep mechanism, and all its abilities are converted into Specialist-type Nen. She masters the core skill [Wish Fulfillment], the Causal Cross Technique that reverses all things, and a permanent defensive shield. After completing a side quest at the end of the exam, the System awakens and doubles her combat power.
She accidentally falls into an underwater mermaid palace and brings back a purple pearl, forging a fated contract with Hisoka. His golden eyes turn purple, and a cross-shaped mark appears between his brows, allowing the two to share all their Nen...
As the show ends, the magician softly confesses, “The grand performance is finally over. Your selfish desire is me, but you’re the one who won.”
Hisoka is the main pairing, with Chrollo as the secondary pairing. There are flirtations with a few handsome men, but no genuine feelings.
