In a noisy tavern, the Fourth Calamity players gather for a chat.
“Have you heard? The Adventurers' Guild president embezzled a ton of money!”
“Come on, what's so surprising about that? It happens all the time.”
William, the “Great Adventurer” traveling incognito, turns pale and looks at his good buddy beside him.
The current Adventurers' Guild president, “Great Prophet” Ein, drinks without batting an eye.
“Partner, is that true?”
“Oh, yeah, that did happen.”
William senses trouble. “Uh, give your buddy a figure... Let's pay it back first.”
Ein smiles. “Relax, it's nothing.”
William is just starting to feel relieved when he hears the players chatting.
“Hey, it's no small amount. Our president here embezzled this much,” one player says, holding up five fingers.
“Ha, how much could it be? Five million?” The player shakes his head.
“Fine, let's go bigger. Five hundred million?” The player still shakes his head.
“What? Five billion? That's pretty impressive.”
“Heh, not even close. It's five hundred trillion!”
At that, everyone in the tavern draws a sharp breath.
William laughs in anger. What kind of god of wealth is this? Embezzling five hundred trillion!
Even if they sold the entire guild along with his fleet, they'd be lucky to scrape together a trillion. This rumor is ridiculous.
But when he jokes about it with his good buddy, Ein says, “Yep, that's right. It's five hundred trillion.”
William: “?…Σ( ° △ °|||)︴”
“And it's in silver.”
William: “!!∑(❍ฺд❍ฺlll)”
