[Supernatural horror + two powerful leads + dungeon instances + the male lead is a god + devoted couple + secret identities + global livestream + a touch of ensemble cast]
The world is suddenly overrun by a “plague” named Oberon. No one knows what it is. People across China are randomly dragged into terrifying dungeon instances, and whether they make it out alive depends on their own abilities.
Zhou Lan is dragged into an instance, too. With no experience on his first run, he relies entirely on his own strength to make it out alive.
While everyone else enters the instances in terror, Zhou Lan only finds them boring. If his boss hadn’t forced him to go, he’d never want to set foot in another one for the rest of his life.
Someone else from his group is dragged in with him: Lu Linzhou, the company’s “cash cow.” His boss only sent him in to investigate the plague, but after a few runs, Zhou Lan realizes there’s more to Lu Linzhou than meets the eye. At the very least, he’s no ordinary young master from Beijing’s elite circles. He must have some connection to the plague.
Not only does Lu Linzhou seem strange, Zhou Lan also senses an inexplicable possessiveness toward him.
Viewer 1: I knew those two big shots had to be more than friends!
Viewer 2: Where are all the netizens who see the world through 8x binoculars? We need you now!!!
Later, Zhou Lan begins to awaken. The ultimate bosses from the instances can actually reside in his sea of consciousness, and he can use their supernatural abilities.
Come to think of it… dungeon instances aren’t all that boring after all…
PS: Their feelings develop quietly. The male lead is the first to feel an inexplicable possessiveness toward the other, though he doesn’t realize it himself at first.
