1939, Hankou occupied area. Chen Mo, the young owner of Chen Kee Noodle House, just wanted to keep his ancestral shop, but on a rainy night he rescued a man covered in injuries and was forced to be involved in an intelligence storm that spread throughout the city. He must use his noodle cooking skills and his account-settling mind to deal with the Japanese, pseudo-police, military commanders and underground parties, turning his noodle shop into the most unlikely intelligence hub.
