The Pure Eye flared, and space and time slipped out of alignment.
A boy who should have been fighting in his own era opened his eyes to find himself standing before an unfamiliar Konoha, already on the brink of death.
The young face carved into the stone belonged to a Fourth Hokage he had never seen before.
On the eve of the Nine-Tails attack, a storm was gathering. He didn’t know why he had come here, or what had sparked the mysterious resonance tugging at his Pure Eye. He only knew that the crisis facing this era was far more dire than he had imagined.
With power that surpassed his time, he burst onto the scene and unleashed an unforeseen storm on a battlefield that should have belonged only to the previous generation.
“You’re saying you’re my grandson?”
The blond Hokage stared at the boy before him, his brow furrowed.
“Where did this ridiculously powerful kid come from?”
The instant his mask shattered, the man’s Sharingan filled with shock.
“He kicked my Susanoo to pieces like it was a toy?”
Madara Uchiha, standing at the pinnacle of the world, felt wary of a boy for the first time.
The gears of fate quietly shifted, while eyes hidden in the cracks of time and space silently watched it all. When the legendary shadow of the Otsutsuki slowly descended, the boy would finally understand that this journey across time and space had never been an accident.
The road ahead of him was far longer than saving a single era.
Overall, it's okay, but the pace is a bit slow. The subsequent plot is pretty good. I'm still looking forward to the arrival of the adult Sasuke, which should be coming soon.
Dear adoptive fathers, this book is not a simple novel, and it borrows some elements from anime, but some settings can be explained in Naruto.
