Transmigrating to 1937: A Father and Son Fight the Japanese

Li Yuan woke up to find himself back in 1937.

The Japanese invaders were already raiding his village. His father was hanging from a beam, and his fiancée was trapped in the courtyard. Li Yuan grabbed a hoe from behind the door and smashed the Japanese sergeant’s head. He was a military engineer, with an entire arms industry in his mind. He could draw a rifle’s exploded diagram with his eyes closed, and all it took to repair a captured gun was taking it apart and having a look. If the Japanese had a weapon, he could build it too. His father was a construction worker and an expert at digging pits and setting traps. Together, father and son rallied the villagers to storm blockhouses, ambush supply convoys, and seize strongholds. Their ragtag band grew from a handful of battered rifles into a powerful anti-Japanese force. The Japanese put a bounty on their heads, while puppet troops went weak at the knees just hearing their names. In these turbulent times, Li Yuan had only one goal: protect the people around him and drive the Japanese invaders from this land.
