All Paths Return to the Source: Defying the Way to Reopen the Eternal Heavens

A passenger plane strays into a spatial rift over the Bermuda Triangle. Ling Yuan and his girlfriend plunge into the Cultivation Prison, the Sealed Origin Realm. At the spirit-testing jade tablet, his girlfriend awakens a top-grade fire Dao seed and abandons him for the path to immortality, leaving him with only one parting line: immortals and mortals belong to different worlds.

Though Ling Yuan is a powerless mortal with no Dao seed, he uses the jade pendant his parents left him to awaken its spirit, Guangzai, and the lingering soul of Cang Wu, a Great Emperor from ten thousand years ago. He gains an exclusive void spirit root and cultivates orthodox techniques from across the heavens, able to refine the origins of all the myriad Daos in the world.

With his companions and a mutated beast bearing the bloodline of a qilin, he traverses ancient forests, storms city walls, and explores ancient forbidden zones, challenging sect prodigies who wield Dao seeds. Everyone cultivates in accordance with the Heavenly Dao in pursuit of immortality, but he alone glimpses the truth: all living beings are merely nourishment for the Heavenly Dao to harvest.

When the supreme experts of the major sects join forces to hunt him down, Ling Yuan gathers the origins of all nine elements, forges his own Great Dao, and tears apart the Heavenly Dao's prison. He will go even further, setting out across the heavens to seek his parents and wage war against the entire old Heaven!
