Global Class Change: My Potions Have Minds of Their Own

[Everyone Changes Class + Personified Potions + Lighthearted Comedy + National Trump Card]

Who says life-class professions are destined to be nothing but lowly support staff?

Lin Yang awakens as the least respected class of all, an [Alchemist], and plans to open a corner drugstore and take it easy.

But just after he brews a bottle of low-grade red potion, the liquid leaps out of the jar and points at him, shouting, “You’re brewing it like you’re roasting sweet potatoes! Watch closely. This is how you make a potion!”

From then on, every potion Lin Yang makes awakens self-awareness, and things go completely off the rails.

His invisibility potion becomes a socially anxious assassin and casually cleans out the royal treasury;

His cold medicine turns into an edgy little boy and slaps away a dragon’s world-ending breath;

His low-grade antidote thinks it’s too weak, so it reverse-engineers a domain of a thousand poisons and wipes out the insect queen’s nest...

When the gods from beyond the stars descend, the allied forces of every nation are driven back, and all humanity falls into despair,

Lin Yang can only sigh as his entire army of mythic potion spirits takes human form behind him and brings the stars to heel.

“I really am just a medicine seller. Why’d you have to provoke my old masters?”
