Everyone transmigrates to a horror-themed Plants vs. Zombies world, randomly scattered across the wasteland. Their phones are turned into survival interfaces, complete with planting, storage, trading, and chat functions. But each person has only four bags of bread and two bottles of mineral water.
During the one-month beginner protection period, the lowest-level shamblers are just an appetizer. As time passes, more dangerous things appear, growing stronger by the day.
Wang Lin discovers that he’s different from everyone else. Along with the Insight Eye everyone has, he also possesses an “Evolution Fusion Eye,” which can reveal plants’ evolution paths, fusion recipes, and synthesis requirements. While everyone else is still figuring out how to survive, he already knows which zombies to kill, what materials to collect, and which blueprints to combine.
But plant evolution requires parts from zombies. The more zombies he kills, the more plants he raises, and the fiercer they become. Sunflowers grow mouths full of teeth, Peashooters spit saliva that corrodes steel plates, and Wall-nuts sprout bone spikes all over. While others are still fighting for a bite to eat, Wang Lin is already planning how to fuse two rare plants into something even more outrageous.
