Chen Mo, a master of history, accidentally traveled to the wasteland world in the third year of the apocalypse. The "grey mist" of alien energy swept across the earth, turning 90% of humanity into zombies, and a few of the survivors awakened supernatural powers. Chen Mo has nothing but a mobile phone filled with papers and e-books, a "Cornerstone of Civilization" system that can scan and analyze all things, and a brain with modern academic training. Starting from a shabby stronghold with two hundred people, he used agricultural knowledge to cultivate land, chemical knowledge to create gunpowder, and management knowledge to establish order. He gathered survivors along the way to fight against mutated creatures and the evil of human nature, and finally rekindled the fire of civilization in the scorched earth of doomsday.
