High Martial: Is Painting the Weakest Path? I Paint All of Creation

[System for all + urban high martial arts + career awakening + rule-based abilities + academy rivalry + ensemble character growth] This is a high martial arts world where everyone awakens a System. Martial arts, swordsmanship, and formation arts are held in high regard, while painting is dismissed as a low-class discipline. For years, no one has been able to compete in its name, and the entire department is on the verge of being shut down. On the day Chen Wang awakened, the System gave him none of the usual ranks from F to S. It gave him just one word: Anomaly. While everyone thought his awakening had failed, he saw a color on the chief examiner. It was despair, buried for twenty years. [Blue of Despair: Sinks, erodes] Using despair as his pigment, Chen Wang painted a blade for the first time, one capable of cleaving through the structure of reality. From then on, he discovered that every emotion was a color, and every color represented a rule. Despair could erode, fear could create projections, and anger, greed, sorrow, obsession... all could be painted. Others cultivated with spiritual energy. Chen Wang used all living beings as his colors and the world as his canvas. Until the abandoned painting department building, sealed for fifteen years, lit up once more with a gray glow, and a door no one had painted appeared before him. Someone behind the door wrote, stroke by stroke: “I've found you.”
