[Strong Female Lead] [No Romance] [Ensemble Cast] [Dark Fantasy]
Susanna is the sharpest pair of “scissors” in the main world. Just after having her memories wiped and returning to work, she is handed a tough assignment.
Her job has only two parts: retrieve the World Tree seeds and destroy the world.
The observation phase of what should have been a routine mission goes awry when she gives in to a craving for pudding and accidentally falls into the mission world.
Then a mortal uses a god-slaying weapon to destroy one of her bodies.
Worse still, the weapon’s registered owner turns out to be her.
A hundred-year-old ghost tells her that she once promised to lead them to a new world.
Beside every fragment of a World Tree seed, there is the soul of a traitorous pair of scissors.
A cultivation apocalypse buried under miles of ice, air conditioners roaring in a steel jungle, six moons hanging high overhead…
Where there are gods made by human hands, there are those who slay gods. Some fight to survive; others see death as freedom.
Susanna is not responsible for saving the world. The World Tree’s rules of maintenance demand its destruction.
