Slay the Gods: The God of Freedom Turns Out to Be Everyone's Crush

A Slay the Gods spin-off. The protagonist is adored by everyone, and there are ships that get broken up. If you can’t accept that, please don’t read!

A girl awakens with no memories in the Asylum for the Gods. The world has become a dangerous place shrouded in mist, and she goes with the flow and joins the Night Watch. At first, she may have done so simply because she felt lost. Then one day, she discovers that she is actually the God of Freedom?

The power of freedom can redeem the helpless and lost people trapped in the mist. It can bring endless hope to a world blanketed in darkness, restore the lifespans of people worn down by time, and even grant the gods new life.

But what does freedom mean to you? One person’s freedom is freedom, and so is the freedom of a group. But is a group’s freedom my freedom?

A poetic exploration of freedom.
