In the 1960s, Chen Wang, a boy whose parents died, was robbed of his food by his elder brother and sister-in-law, and unexpectedly received a pocket watch that could travel between 1960 and 2026. He exchanged period antiques for supplies, helped the famine-stricken folks, and resolved the difficulties posed by his sister-in-law, Wang Tiezhu, and others; he met Su Qingwan, Lin Wei, and other partners, reselling medicinal materials and antiques to accumulate resources, and transported grain seeds and equipment to help his hometown fight drought and increase production.
