Jiangshi: The Nine Suns Daoist Master in the City

Lin Qi, a Taoist priest from the Republican era, sealed the Corpse King Jiang Chen and slept for eighty years. When he awoke, Taoist magic had fallen into decline, and zombies had become nothing more than an urban legend.

He possesses an Immortal Emperor Pill and a Nine Yang Divine Body, but to restore the collapsing seal, he needs the soul energy of a woman with a pure yin physique.

Ma Xuanyue, an heir to the Exorcist Dragon Clan, takes on a string of vampire murders. Her grandmother's dying words tell her to find Lin Qi.

When fate brings them together again and old acquaintances reappear, they discover that the sealing battle eighty years ago was a trap from beginning to end.

Lu Qinghe appears on a poster wearing Ma Linglong's face. She smiles silently at the camera: “You're finally awake.”
