When a Tomb-Raiding Heroine Stormed Hogwarts

[Harry Potter + The Grave Robbers' Chronicles + pairing unknown + mostly humorous everyday life]

Zhang Wan, an heir to the tomb-raiding trade, is tricked by an ancient rune into a rift in time and space, where she crashes straight through Hogwarts' barrier. When she wakes up, she doesn't go to Diagon Alley to buy a wand. Instead, she stares at the strange stone formation on the shore of the Black Lake and frowns.

On her first day at school, she refuses to wear a skirt and insists that Madam Malkin make her a black leather trench coat with seven hidden pockets, specially designed to hold a compass, cinnabar, and black donkey hooves.

Snape: “Why are the glowing runes this stupid troll draws even more unsettling than my Potions Class?!”

Draco: “She actually opened a stone coffin sealed for a thousand years deep in the Forbidden Forest! It's not magic inside, but some kind of bizarre Eastern formation!”

Zhang Wan, watching the blue runic formation spin beneath her feet: “Did the tomb runes awaken some dormant magic? No, I think the feng shui beneath Hogwarts looks exactly like a hidden imperial tomb of unparalleled grandeur.”

Everyone at Hogwarts: “Did she come here to learn magic, or is she planning to dig up the whole castle like a tomb?!”

P.S. She doesn't care about Voldemort, and she has no interest in learning Avada Kedavra. All she wants to know is whether there are valuable grave goods underground at Hogwarts. After the Sorting Hat puts her in Gryffindor, it breaks down completely: “With that murderous tomb-raider aura, did this child come here to become a wizard or to rob Hogwarts of everything it owns?!”
