In the early 1990s, a small town in Northeast China. The textile factory laid off employees overnight, and both Lin Fang and Zhao Guoqiang were laid off. The six-year-old daughter is as smart as a little boss, and the four-year-old son is so sweet that he amuses the whole store. The couple did not want to separate, nor did they want to leave their children and go south.
