Chinese Martial Arts: Can My Martial Skills Auto-Grind?

[Republican-Era Shanghai] [Martial Arts Come to Life] [Forced to Be Invincible] [Play the Pig to Eat the Tiger] [Decisive and Ruthless]

Rickshaw driver Chen Jiu is willing to trample his dignity into the mud to scrape together fifty silver dollars for his younger sister’s medical bills.

By chance, he stumbles into the Paramount and witnesses a drug deal between Du, a Green Gang big shot, and the Japanese.

Facing the black muzzles of their guns, Chen Jiu drops to his knees and kowtows. “Boss, I’ve only got six coppers in my pocket, and my sister’s waiting for me to bring her medicine. Please let me go, I’m nothing to you!”

The Green Gang’s top enforcer kicks him to the ground. “Once you’re dead, your sickly sister will be right behind you!”

At that moment, a voice erupts in Chen Jiu’s mind:

[Your loved one has been insulted! Your Three Sovereigns Cannon Fist can’t stand it!]

[The Three Sovereigns Cannon Fist has been practicing on autopilot for sixty years and reached perfection! Requesting control of the body!]

Chen Jiu is horrified. “Don’t do it! Staying alive is what matters!”

[Request denied! The Three Sovereigns Cannon Fist refuses to kneel!]

The next second, Chen Jiu is forced to throw a punch. The 200-pound Green Gang enforcer crashes through two load-bearing walls. When Du fires three shots at him, [Iron Shirt thinks you’re too weak and mutates on the spot into the Indestructible Vajra Skill], and every bullet flattens against Chen Jiu’s chest!

Chen Jiu trembles. “I really just wanted to pull a rickshaw and earn enough for medicine...”

The various martial arts shout in unison: “Shut up. Today, you’re becoming Shanghai’s living King of Hell!”
