Superhuman Sense of Smell: Starting Under the Policewoman’s Watch

One fateful shot turned Wen Shiwei, a brilliant detective, into a suspect.

Suspended, stripped of his gun, and socially dead.

Lu Lengyue, the aloof policewoman and younger sister of his former comrade, moved into his home with deep-seated hatred and kept him under 24-hour surveillance.

Everyone thought Wen Shiwei was finished, until a series of bizarre, high-profile cases rocked the nation: a headless ice sculpture, a butcher on a rainy night, a perfect locked-room murder…

The special task force was at a loss. Only Wen Shiwei, under surveillance, could smell the “scent of death” at the crime scenes, a scent no ordinary person could detect.

His nose could pick up fear, lies, and crimes buried by time.

Lu Lengyue had meant to send him to prison herself, but time and again, she watched him find the irrefutable evidence first and toy with the real culprit as if they were in the palm of his hand.

Lu Lengyue: “What other secrets are you hiding?”

Wen Shiwei: “I can smell the real killer who murdered your brother. They’re right here among us…”
