The God of War Refuses to Work Again

[Reality show livestream + supernatural modern setting + ensemble cast elements + younger male lead + both leads have no prior sexual partners + happy ending + sweet romance, mainly from the receiving lead's perspective, who is stronger than the pursuing lead]

[Sharp-tongued, cold-hearted pursuer who falls hard for love ✘ naturally seductive battle god who just wants to find a quiet place to die]

(The new book just started, so the rating... oh, there isn't one yet. But updates are steady, and the plot is outlined.)

The battle god Si Zhumian had lived for billions of years. At long last, he had made it to retirement, and all he wanted was to find a quiet place to die.

But at the request of an old friend, he joined a supernatural livestream variety show, and casually protected Gu Shiyuan, the heir to the Gu family, whose cursed fate meant he would not live past twenty-eight.

Gu Shiyuan had severe mysophobia and a tongue sharp enough to use as a weapon.

Si Zhumian also thought Gu Shiyuan was cold and distant, always sparing him as few words as possible.

Until one day, Gu Shiyuan discovered his plan to die.

That day, the livestream sent the whole internet into an uproar.

The Gu family's heir, who never touched anyone, pinned him against a wall, his eyes red.

"Master, do you know how to kiss?"

"Wha-"

For the first time in his endless life, the battle god was kissed until his legs went weak, the corners of his eyes turning red.

The comments exploded:

[Holy crap???]

[Wait, what??? The ship I was rooting for is real?]

[Aaaaaaaaaah!!!]

[Gu, you dog, what are you doing to my wife???]

[The whole internet is watching, Mr. Gu!!! Keep it together!!]

[How do I put this... somehow, I saw it coming]

But Gu Shiyuan held him tightly by the waist, his voice so hoarse it was almost unrecognizable. "Mianmian, you saved my life, and my heart belongs to you alone. If you're leaving, take me with you."

Si Zhumian had lived for billions of years, but for the first time, he felt that dying was getting harder and harder.
