[Bungo Stray Dogs] Crossover with [Death Note]
In Light Yagami’s eyes, no sinner can escape divine judgment as long as he knows their name and face.
That is, until the Death Note arrives in Yokohama, a city where everyone has an alias, a codename, forged records, and a second identity.
In an execution that seemed foolproof, the person who died wasn’t the one Light had truly wanted to kill. The Death Note hadn’t failed. The information he trusted had.
To track down ability-wielding criminals hiding in Yokohama, Light Yagami joins a joint investigation team as an investigator. Meanwhile, Edogawa Ranpo has already seen through the truth behind the mismatched identities, L follows death dates and search records in pursuit of evidence, and Dazai Osamu begins reorganizing how the entire city stores names, faces, and locations.
Yet Light soon turns his attention to Yokohama’s ability-user crime syndicates.
Every person he executes has clearly committed a crime, yet each death forces the Armed Detective Agency, the Port Mafia, and the Special Division for Unusual Powers to expose their secrets. Who is protecting the witnesses? Who has the real records? And who is maintaining the balance between day, dusk, and night?
Light forces the entire city to move through death.
Dazai handles the strategy and keeps Yokohama in order; Ranpo searches for the true intent behind the plans; and L must turn suspicions no one believes into irrefutable evidence.
And Light Yagami is watching them, too.
The masterminds of several factions are drawn into the game.
This time, the most dangerous weapon may not be the Death Note, but the question of whose name you choose to believe.
