His ruthless methods strike fear into everyone. She is a university student from H Country, gifted with the ability to distinguish real jade from fake, and a brilliant jewelry designer with a bright future ahead of her. An accident leads her to trespass on his turf. He thinks little of her and keeps her by his side only because her scent helps him sleep. She dreams of escaping this mercurial man, but his vast influence leaves her too afraid to even try. He calls her a “poser.” She thinks to herself that he’s a “rotten bastard.” * Later, he still has a sharp tongue, but can’t help indulging her. She still wears her “mask,” but she also sincerely thanks him for treating her well. His feelings for her begin to change, and the changes make him panic. He absolutely will not fall for her! * But it doesn’t take long for him to eat his words. When he nearly thinks he’s going to lose her, he says, “So what if I fall for her? Fine…” The first time he sleeps with her in his arms, he thinks, “What was I even pretending for all this time?” After being drugged, while still lucid, he says, “I can’t control myself. I have to go back to her…” He sets a photo of the two of them as his screensaver. He hangs the little rabbit plushie she gave him from his belt. His men are completely baffled: “What’s gotten into the boss?” What they don’t know is that behind closed doors, this cold, ruthless man chases after her every day, asking if she loves him. * The day they agreed he would let her go soon arrives. Su Ninghe: “Bye-bye.” Ank: “What do you mean, bye? Do you think you can leave?”
