A modern geographer, a map of the world that never existed in this era, and an emperor ready to devour the entire planet.
Lin He disappeared out of thin air from the conference room of the National Geographic Information Center. When he opened his eyes again, he had landed on the loess of two thousand years ago. In front of him was the Eastern Patrol Team that was about to be assassinated. He shouted out, "The riverbed ahead will be diverted and cannot be forcibly crossed." That's how he survived. Three days later, he drew the outline of the land and sea beyond the territory of Qin on the back of the copper plate. Qin Shihuang stared at the blank space all night and asked only one sentence: "Please fill in the blank space for me."
In the next ten years, the Qin army's battle flag was planted from the South China Sea to Rome, and across the ocean from Central America. All routes are marked by the young man in white. But when Zhao Gao dug out a roll of burnt silk pictures from the ruins of Afang Palace, he said: "The world he painted has never been named Qin."
Deep in the prison, Lin He used his fingers to draw a line on the dirt that he had never mentioned to anyone before - connecting it end to end around the entire sphere. He finished the painting and smoothed it out, leaving a sentence in the air: "He doesn't know the world is round yet. We can't let him know."
But on the chart sent back by the expedition fleet, there were four words written on it: Suspected to be around the sea.
Qin Shihuang's fingers stopped on that line and knocked twice, as if knocking on a door.
No one knows what is behind the door.
