Battlefield of Ten Thousand Races: From Cave to Fortress

When all of humanity is thrown into the Myriad Races Arena, Lin Feng starts with nothing but a pair of underwear.

When he wakes up, he's standing on an icefield where the temperature is minus forty degrees.

No weapons, no teammates, no beginner's gift pack.

Before him is only a line of cold text:

[Random environment generated: Frozen Wasteland. Survival rate: 3%.]

[Mission: Survive the night.]

Lin Feng looks around: snow and wind, cliffs, and the howls of unknown creatures in the distance.

He's unarmed. His body temperature is dropping. Night is closing in.

He has to start from scratch.

He strips bark with his bare hands, grinds a bone knife with broken stones, and digs his first shelter into the frozen earth. When the blood moon rises on the first night, he curls up in the pit he's dug, listens to the footsteps of predators from the myriad races outside, and grits his teeth as he piles stones at the entrance.

This is only the first day.

The System's prompt sounds again:

[Random environment generated: Frozen Wasteland]

[Zone difficulty: Rank C]

[Estimated survival rate: 3%]

[Mission: Survive the night]

[Safe house unlocked. Level: 1.]

[Construction materials required: Wood*80, Stone*20, Fiber*20]

[Warning: A beast tide will arrive in seven days.]

Lin Feng looks at his wind-battered pile of stones and the endless icefield stretching before him.

Some people die of thirst in the desert. Others are devoured by poisonous insects in the rainforest. Some build wooden cabins, only to have them trampled flat by the first beast tide.

They're all struggling on the edge of survival, but Lin Feng has a different goal.

He's not building a shelter.

He's building a fortress that will never be breached on the battlefield of the myriad races.

The furnace is lit, defense towers rise, and walls shoot up from the ground.

From a pit to a stone house, from a stone house to a stronghold, from a stronghold to a mobile war fortress
