A Deadly Predicament

I fell asleep in the body of a stillborn infant, my memories lost, after personally laying a century-long trap.

One person kept vigil by my side for a thousand years; a host of sworn enemies hunted me down to kill me.

The eerie goings-on at the funeral home where I’ve just started work, old acquaintances who keep appearing, the overwhelming power of my past life that I can no longer conceal, and a destiny rejected by Heaven’s will.

If Heaven forbids it, I’ll fight! If Heaven won’t give it to me, I’ll take it!
