Li Yi graduated from a prestigious university, but now he's unemployed and buried in debt. To pay for his mother's medical treatment, he ends up scavenging at a junkyard. Then, on a rainy night, he awakens the “Everything Recycling System”: the more broken, old, and unwanted an item is, the higher its recycling value! One empty can earns him a stack of cash, while recycling an unfinished building gives him an unparalleled skill. What others see as trash becomes the ladder to his success. While everyone laughs at a college graduate for collecting scrap, Li Yi has quietly bought half a street. His aloof landlady, a CEO, thinks he's about to default on his rent, never realizing that this “down-and-out” tenant has bought out her company's creditor with a single deal. He quietly keeps scavenging, all the while becoming Yunhai City's most mysterious hidden tycoon and secretly taking hold of the power to protect the entire city.
