But the trickier stuff lies behind. Yang Jian at the mouth of the Guanjiang River was waiting for him to apologize - Yang Jian's heavenly eye had been gouged out by someone, and the person who dug out the eye was wearing a cassock, exactly the same as the one worn by Tang Monk. What Tang Seng fears most is not the copy or the Tathagata - what he fears is himself. On the page of the Beiye Sutra that Jin Chanzi tore out, there were only three words left: Don't believe it.
Ninety-nine and eighty-one difficulties, this time is not to learn from the experience, but to overturn the table.
