Elena, a wild girl who grew up in the Black Forest, was recognized as an "adopted daughter" by her biological father, Earl Ashford, and was brought back to the manor. In fact, she wanted to replace the arrogant fake daughter Sophia and marry the rumored cruel and bloodthirsty Wolf King of the North. Elena sees through everything but doesn't bother to expose it - it's better than chasing a wild boar in the Black Forest anyway.
