The Qin Dynasty's Illegitimate Prince: I Rose to Power by Crushing the Xiongnu

The First Emperor had been on the throne for thirty-three years.

Zhao Yu transmigrated into the body of Qin Shi Huang’s illegitimate son.

Framed by Zhao Gao’s schemes, he was demoted to commoner by the First Emperor.

Faced with such a disastrous start, Zhao Yu didn’t panic. Instead, he volunteered to go to the northern frontier and fight the Xiongnu.

“Father, give me a chance. I’ll crush the Xiongnu and atone for my crimes.”

He spent three years making plans at the northern frontier.

Then the First Emperor fell critically ill. With Zhao Gao’s help, Hu Hai killed Fusu and inherited the throne of the Great Qin.

“Everyone says the Great Qin will fall after two generations.”

“I say eunuchs and their factions have no business interfering with the affairs of state!”

Zhao Yu led 300,000 Great Qin troops from the northern frontier to purge the court and claim the throne.

He purged corrupt officials within and pacified all lands beyond.

“I’ll be the ruler of this Great Qin. Who’s with me, and who’s against me?”

“I will make all beneath heaven the land of the Great Qin, and all who live within its borders my subjects.”
