One day after a meteor from beyond the heavens entered his body, a black hole appeared on his chest. It looked like a birthmark, but seemed to lead to another, alien space.
On the second day, he glimpsed shadows invisible to mortals and heard wails beyond their hearing.
On the seventh day, he broke through a cultivation realm and became a sacred body for cultivating immortality.
An infant soul tried to possess him, but the moment it drew near, the black hole evolved from the meteor within him swallowed it without a trace.
Though this golden finger is Cthulhu-esque, Li Jiudu can't shake the feeling that he is sliding toward some indescribable abyss.
Master-disciple bond: “Master, I'm your disciple! How can you fall in love with me?”
Brotherhood: “Brother, you know your seven Golden Core junior brothers died at my hands. Why do you still treat me like a brother?”
Romance: “Girl, I've thought of you as my little sister since we were children. When did you fall in love with me?”
A bright heart: “The dragon-slaying boy becomes a dragon himself, yet returns still a boy at heart!”
Not invincible early on: “A flower of hell needs time to bloom.”
Explosive power later: “My golden finger disgusts me so much I could throw up. Who else can say that?”
You might be too impatient to read on, but you'll miss out on plenty of great moments from the early chapters!
Potential author, thumbs up~~ I also recommend a novel to everyone, "Throne of Genes: The Awakening of the Super Girl Invincible". Although the name is a bit unsophisticated, it is really good-looking, with a compact plot and high levels of suspense. It also combines urban fantasy and Machiavellian wits. You can check it out~
