Bai Yi thought she was invisible. Sitting in the last row of the classroom, she was like a speck of dust lost in the gray, unnoticed by everyone.
Until one night, she opened a door she should never have opened.
Three of the most dazzling girls in school all turned to look at her. They were the light in everyone’s eyes, but each had cracks no one else knew about. Bai Yi saw them, and she didn’t run.
They drew close to her, protected her, and pulled her into a world she had never entered before. Only then did she realize she wasn’t a speck of dust.
Someone had picked her up and held her in the palm of their hand.
This is a story about being seen, being protected, and finding warmth.
Plain, warm, good-looking 😳
Five-star praise, I lack vocabulary, so I have to recommend it [laughs][plus one on bookshelf][please update]
It's light, it feels good, come on
