Song Wanzhi has been married to Fu Chenzhou for three years, trapped in a marriage that exists in name only.

On their third wedding anniversary, she prepares a table full of food, but Fu Chenzhou personally goes to the airport to welcome Wen Yining, the woman he has treasured in his heart for years.

Later, Wen Yining presents her mother's posthumous work at a press conference, and Fu Chenzhou still chooses to believe her.

“Yining would never plagiarize.”

Song Wanzhi finally gives up hope. She signs the divorce papers, takes off her wedding ring, and disappears from his world for good.

Fu Chenzhou thinks she can't bear to give up her position as Mrs. Fu and will come back sooner or later.

But when they meet again, she is the mysterious designer Z, dazzling the international jewelry competition, and the only heir recently found by the Song family.

Radiant and dazzling, with countless admirers by her side, she will never wait around for him again.

It isn't until a kidnapping case from ten years ago is reopened that Fu Chenzhou learns it was Song Wanzhi who rushed into the fire and saved him.

He mistook someone else for his first love and personally drove away the woman who had truly loved him.

Later, Fu Chenzhou corners Song Wanzhi outside her engagement banquet and bows his head for the first time.

“Wanzhi, come home with me.”

Song Wanzhi pulls her hand away, smiling brightly yet distantly.

“Fu Chenzhou, you signed the divorce papers yourself.”

“My home hasn't been the Fu family for a long time.”
